The campus of London Business School is unique in a variety of ways. But one key element is the different graduate programs that the school offers, and one of which is the MBA program. This gives the campus an intimate feel yet it remains vibrant and thanks to its very engaged world-class faculty and students.

One example of such engagement is the Global Energy Summit to be held on Friday November 12, 2010 in Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. This is an annual event that is fully organized by a student run executive committee. The conference has grown from strength to strength and is expected to bring this year over 500+ attendees from Industry, Academia, and Government. I’m sure you can imagine the level of challenge that goes into organizing this annual event which is one of many ways in which London Business School students put their talents into work.

This year’s summit will explore and debate issues from the frontline perspective of global energy companies, clean energy players, utility companies, regulatory bodies and financiers at this critical juncture in the history the industry.

I believe attending this conference is not only a great way to learn about the energy sector but also to reach out and network with top leaders, attendees from the industry, as well as students and academics from the London Business School.
